Shared Care

The treatment of drug users in shared care arrangements is well rehearsed within LLR. This treatment modality is mediated by an agreed protocol. Treatment expertise and risk is shared between primary care and a specialised drug service. This usually involves some arrangement for specialist drug workers having close and regular contact with drug users and their GP. Use the links provided to find out more information and background to Shared Care activity in LLR.
