A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

Depression Alliance

A leading UK charity for people affected by depression.

DrugScope

The UK's leading independent centre of expertise on drugs and the national membership organisation for the drug field. Provides quality drug information, promotes effective responses to drug taking and undertakes research.

Harm Reduction Works

This website supports the harm reduction works campaign materials. The plan commits to reducing the burden of illness and death caused by illicit drug use through improved surveillance of service provision, improved delivery of harm reduction services, and information campaigns aimed at drug users and drug service providers.

The Home Office is working hard to deal with the serious problems caused by illegal drug use. It is also the government department responsible for alcohol policy and licensing.

Connexions Leicestershire

Delivers information, advice and impartial guidance to young people aged between 13 and 19 (and up to 25 for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities).

Open Door Leicester

Offers a free and confidential counselling service to young people in Leicester and Leicestershire. Working in schools, colleges, youth clubs and Connexions Centres, it supports all young people aged 11 - 19.

Pozitude

Pozitude is a web site set up by a group of young people who are living with an HIV positive status. But it’s more than a web site, it’s a special place where the clock stops and you can navigate your way without running out of time. You can use this space as a safe place to come and find out about living with HIV.

Youth 2 Youth

Youth 2 Youth is a unique helpline service run by young people for young people. Can contact trained volunteers by telephone, email or on-line chat. Whichever way they choose to contact Y2Y they can be assured that their call will be treated confidentially and a young person will be there to give them the support and help they need.
